
Swinging into action
The second ever Bionic Ear Institute Golf Day was held on Tuesday October 21st at Kingston Heath Golf Course. Sixty-four players were up bright and early to register at 6.30am for a tee off at 7.30am.
After a morning of golf, participants retired to the Kingston Heath Clubhouse for a three course lunch. Guests enjoyed hearing from speakers including the Institute Director Rob Shepherd, John Piccolo, the CEO of the Institute’s partner Woodards and Naomi Baulch. Naomi is the mother of twin 15 month old boys with Cochlear Implants. She entertained our guests with stories about her family.

During lunch an auction of 13 donated prizes was also held. Donated prizes ranged from sporting memorabilia, to ballet tickets and holidays.
A grand total of $13,000 was raised to support the Institute.
