Become an Ambassador
Everyone connected with The Bionic Ear Institute is passionate about
our work – our staff, our research volunteers, our supporters.
We’re all raving fans! If you share our passion, we would love
you to come and join us.
Our Bionic Ear Institute Ambassadors give their time as volunteers to
help Graeme Clark and the team with publicity and fundraising activities.
The group provides speakers to talk at clubs such as Probus, Lions and
Rotary, shares Bionic Ear experiences with visitors to the Institute
and helps with media requests. They organise fundraising events such
as trivia nights and sausage sizzles, and are great at spotting other
fundraising opportunities among their contacts. Ambassadors contribute
in any way they feel comfortable with, whether it is speaking to small
or large groups, working behind the scenes, or co-ordinating events.
If
you are a Bionic Ear user, know someone who has the device, or are interested
in our work, then come along to one of our monthly meetings. We can
promise you opportunities to receive free public speaking and other
training, lots of support, the chance to make new friends and the knowledge
that you are helping to make a real difference. Email pr@bionicear.org
or call a member of the public relations and fundraising team on 03
9667 7500 to find out more.
