Overview
In 1997 the Audiological Society of Australia, the professional association
representing audiologists, amended its Constitution such that all new
audiology graduates required a Masters in Audiology to be accepted to
practice as clinical audiologists. Prior to this, Australian audiologists
had been required to graduate at a Postgraduate Diploma level. Those
audiologists who obtained their Graduate Diploma in Audiology prior
to 1998 and would now like to upgrade that qualification may be interested
in the Master of Clinical Audiology (post clinical) course.
